Having SuYin as our postpartum doula was one of the best decisions we made for the birth of our daughter! Not only did we gain some much needed rest as SuYin taking care of our baby and the house chores, most importantly, she helped us in the big transition of life with a new baby. As first time parents, we didn’t know much about caring for a baby. SuYin taught us through every step of taking care of a newborn, so we have the confidence to carry through after she moved on to help other parents. Suyin’s background in midwifery and years of experience in the field really provided her with the wealth of knowledge to answer any questions we had. As new parents, you are sure to have lots of worries about the baby. Having Suyin kept us calm and stress free, so we can focus on building a loving relationship with our baby. I also can’t imagine my breastfeeding going so well if not for having Suyin there, teaching me how to do it, and ensuring that latching was always correct. Suyin is a caring person and a good listener who makes you feel like chatting with a dear friend. She respects your decision as parents and will support you in anyway you want. She is also a great cook and can whip her magic with whatever you have in the fridge into delicious dishes. I will recommend her to anyone I know and will use her again if we have any future baby.
