My husband and I loved working with Su Yin.  She is so friendly and easy to talk to. And we loved that she understood the technical side of labour and not just how to cope emotionally.  She encouraged us to ask her questions anytime before and after labour and always responded promptly.  During labour she was very attentive and tried various coping techniques.  She kept my husband and I calm and made sure I was as comfortable as could be.  In our first meeting after signing on with her, she went through very thorough questions to understand our birth plan and to help us think of things we never thought of before.  Although I ended up with a c section, she stayed throughout until the baby was born to make sure baby and I were doing well.  She also had a follow up visit at home to see how we were doing.  I would definitely recommend Su Yin as a labour doula.
